Transforming organisations, transforming lives
This expert works with CEOs who wish to change their thinking, change their behaviour and change what they do in order to develop and sustain competitive advantage in the market place. In fact, he sometimes starts new assignments by arranging a 360-degree appraisal of the CEO. He has strong analytical skills, an intuitive talent to get to the root of issues, especially people issues, in order to put together strategies for improvement in individual and organisational performance.
Getting people to identify, use and then develop their Intellectual Capital is, he believes, key to driving up performance, irrespective of whether the organisation is in the public, private or ?not-for-profit? sector.
For twenty years, He has been advising and training with numerous clients in all walks of business, commerce and education. As a nationally accredited business consultant and facilitator he runs bespoke director development courses. However one particular focus over the last few years has been in helping organisations to deal with the challenges and opportunities presented by the Global Knowledge Economy, using the TK Factor? Business Development Process.
Tim spoke to a business audience in Dubai whilst attending the World CEO Forum in February 2006. He is passionate about his work and is frequently asked to address business audiences such as the Academy for Chief Executives and the Institute of Directors. He is an Ambassador for Investors in People UK and a member of the Professional Speakers Association. He writes articles widely for various publications.
He began his business career in 1972 with Horwath & Horwath UK, the international tourism and leisure consultancy. He trained as an accountant with Arthur Young McClelland Moores in London and his final appointment prior to setting up his own business in 1985 was as head of finance for the International Division with H.P. Bulmer plc.
He is co-author of ?Pylgrim?s Progress: How to be a WINNER in the Global Knowledge Economy?. He is 56, married with four children and when he is not reading the latest thinking on business or going on courses himself, he is writing, fishing or jogging.
