This facilitator brings his exploration of the ancient Mayan & Aztec ruins of Central America and an extensive knowledge of astronomy, constellations and cosmology to enhance the total adult learning experience.

This facilitator is a director of Specialised Business Training, a training consultancy based in Johannesburg. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is registered with the Institute of Commercial and Financial Accountants of South Africa. After completing his articles with a firm of auditors, he started his own accounting practice and management/training consultancy.

His clients have included Sun International, Building Industries Federation of South Africa, Hyundai Motor Corporation of Botswana, Rand Merchant Bank, Investec Bank, Deloitte Touche, amongst others.

He has written 12 volumes of policies and procedures manuals for Sun International. He has written the ?Smaller Builder?s Introduction to Accounting and Bookkeeping? and an accounting and systems control package for the Hyundai Motor Corporation. He recently completed writing a set of 14 pre-course reading manuals for the Investec Private Bank College of South Africa and 7 manuals for Investec London.

This energetic South African facilitator has been an international management trainer since January 1988, having facilitated in countries such as Kenya, Cameroon, Namibia, Botswana and South Africa. His training specialities include the subjects of corporate and student speed reading, mind mapping, skills for financial controllers, finance for non-accountants, business and technical writing, strategic planning and budgeting, and leadership skills. He is a regular guest presenter of specialist management skills topics to business schools and colleges.

He is an accomplished amateur astronomer and his articles are published regularly in local and international newsletters. He is chairman of the Astronomical Society in Johannesburg and a regular show producer and presenter at the Johannesburg Planetarium.
